WENDELL
FOREMAN is originally from the rough and tumble
oil refinery town of Port Arthur, Texas (he grew up 2 blocks from
Janis Joplin's house). He has been friends with World Renown
Harmonica Player PAUL ORTA since childhood. Moving to the Lake
Charles, Louisiana area in the mid 1970's, Wendell played
blues/rock, original rock and then discovered the rich, untapped,
and beautiful music of Zydeco. In 1983 he began playing in Alfred
Pete's band with Lil' Raymond and within a year they started their
own band - The ZYDECO
