ZYDECO BROTHERS Enjoy Rocking The House Down
This band has been described as
the ROLLING STONES OF ZYDECO.

The ZYDECO BROTHERS like to really get down when they perform live - Classic Louisiana Zydeco Dancehall Style with a good dose of Soul, Rock'n'Roll, Gospel and Blues. They don't drink like they used to (Nobody Could!), but they peform every show with such intensity that you just gotta get up and dance.

Some of our Previous Band Members Still Get It On Too!
Former band members include guitarist CORNELIUS GUIDRY & Zydeco accordianist ANN GOODLY, whose group The ZYDECO BONESHAKERS is currently red-hot, and blues-rocking guitarist GILES SONNIER is tearing it up in clubs all over southern Louisiana.

DURING THE YEARS 1984 - 1989, WE AVERAGED 150 GIGS A YEAR, playing from Houston to New Orleans and up to Little Rock. We played at the well known Zydeco spots such Slim's Y-Ki-Ki, Richard's Club and The Continental Club, a lot of Church Dances, blues clubs, rock clubs and country & western clubs. Also many Festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival (Plaisance), and Contraband Days. We had a very strong following in Beaumont, Texas, reguarly performing to capacity crowds at the huge Harvest Club Ballroom on the fair grounds.

IN 1999 WE RETURNED TO PLAYING LIVE AGAIN and did many shows at our Zydeco mentor Rockin' Sidney's Festival City night club in Lake Charles and we played at a few Festivals including A Smokin' Set at Boozoo Chavis' Labor Day Bash (with special guest Giles Sonnier on lead guitar).

AFTER THE RELEASE OF OUR NEW CD, we will back playing at many of these clubs & festivals and many more. IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK! We're looking forward to playing for the people and carrying the Zydeco flag.
